As a sustainable energy investment specialist business, Armstrong Capital manages equity and debt fundraising, asset and investment management and venture capital growth for renewable infrastructure in the UK.
Their company ethos is built around four key aims; to deliver Net-Zero technologies, transparency, continuous improvement and creating a circular economy. Their impact investments are focused on Solar PV projects, Energy Storage and BESS and critical Energy Infrastructure to support the transition away from fossil fuel dependence.
We supported ACM with several critical hires including a Head of Projects and a Senior Technical Asset Manager for their London offices. With their keen focus on sustainable energy, they had struggled to acquire the multidisciplinary investment and energy talent they required to deliver the projects. Having many years of expertise in this arena, we were confident in our ability to be able to support their needs.
We addressed the challenge by implementing a comprehensive outsourcing recruiting program to support both internal and external hiring needs. Leveraging the Client's Applicant Tracking System (ATS), we streamlined the recruitment process, ensuring efficiency and adherence to agreed-upon standards.
Our strategies included targeted advertising, outreach, and response management to attract a diverse pool of candidates. Additionally, we engaged passive candidates through strategic initiatives, 30% of hires were made via passive candidate sourcing channels. Following this we'd conducted thorough assessments and selections, and managed stakeholder relationships effectively.
Annual recruitment campaigns, an industrial placement program, and a fellowship program further augmented our efforts to secure top talent and meet the client's recruitment objectives.
Hiring through a platform can often be a difficult process, but with the relationships between our two teams, we made sure to adhere to company policy and procedures. By providing extra information for the hiring teams on the TeamTailor platform, we were able to streamline any questions and move quickly to the interview stages.
