Workers want dialogue. In our latest survey of some 230,000 workers across the world, more than half say they are keen to stay in touch with potential employers about possible work opportunities.
Investments in online job postings and the use of social media are just two of the ways that organisations now reach out to job-seekers, however, there is strong evidence that targeting prospects with regular, personalised communications is also an effective technique to building an authentic, ongoing connections with prospects.
In fact, most workers are open to this ongoing communication from organisations as long as they contain relevant information about work opportunities. If nothing else, this provides some significant food-for-thought for employer branding efforts and improving the candidate experience.
