Having recently acquired the Healthcare IT business of DXC Technologies globally, Dedalus Spain is rapidly growing and has many exciting opportunities available. We are looking for a Sr. Java Expert to join the Team.
Must have skills:
More than 4 years of hands-on programming experience in Java development Java - Version 1.8, Java Core, JEE, EJB and JBoss. Excellent programming proficiency in Java.
Deep understanding and experience with multi-threading, concurrency, Garbage Collection and JVM internals.
Knowledge of Java performance tuning, debugging & Profiling Tools.
Web Services such as Spring REST / JSON and SOAP XML
Experience in design and Implementing API (API management)
Good knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle) or SQL Server (Microsoft)
Previous exposure to testing tools & activities (Junit)
Source Control Management (Subversion is used in the project)
Collaborate and communicate well with others, strong written and verbal communication, comfortable with varying (and reactive) daily responsibilities
Actively participate in the effort defining development best practices, participate in design/code reviews and process improvements
Ability to break down business problems into solvable components to recommend solutions
Ability to gather cross-functional requirements and translate them into practical engineering tasks
