Working for a good-sized, successful and market-leading Worcester business, the position of Purchasing Administrator encompasses administering the purchasing process in the company by supporting the finance team with supplier contract renegotiations, KPI monitoring and process improvement activities.
It would appeal to someone with a great eye for detail, who relishes variety and enjoys finding solutions to problems. It will also give the incumbent the opportunity to gain experience of working in a complex Group structure and offers scope for progression in the longer term.
In brief, the duties will include working closely with a wide variety of teams in the company such as Operations, Marketing, Sales and so on- by raising purchase orders and process requests for them. You will also ensure all supplier agreements are adhered to and re-negotiated when needed. Deal with hire bookings, office supplies and act as point of contact for the finance team.
In order to be successful you will have GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C or above. Sound understanding of Excel as well as the ability to work well under pressure, high numeracy and good interpersonal skills. The company is easy to reach from Cheltenham, Evesham, Tewkesbury, Kidderminster and surrounding areas.
