Job description

Our Client are a leading electronic manufacturing business based in the North East of England. The company currently require a talented Production Integrator to join the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing of (sub) assemblies of precision instruments. Working at component level, resolving technical issues. Small part assembly and testing.
  • Tool integration, calibration and test.
  • To direct and monitor the operation of your process area / activities in an effective manner ensuring control of System & methods, efficiency and quality standards.
  • Modify build instructions as and when required.
  • Working pro-actively with colleagues / departments to ensure continuous and co-ordinated manufacture of Instrumentation based products.
  • Constantly be prepared to expand skills & experience by training (internal / external / interdepartmental), in order to reach a level of being multi-skilled on different instruments.
  • To adhere to documentation requirements, i.e. Job logbook information / Work & Build Instructions
  • Performing all reasonable duties concerned with productive output as required by the Production Manager
  • Housekeeping must be adhered to at all times, this includes personal cleanliness and cleanliness of the work environment.
  • Processing NCRs for shop floor parts when required
  • Action material checks on received components
  • Create and complete Job Log Book
  • All tasks to be carried out in accordance with build instructions and work instructions. Including tool build, routing, module assemblies and calibration
  • Trouble shooting when required.
  • Completion Production Orders, in accordance with Work Instructions
  • Action Safety Checks and record results, in accordance with Work Instructions
  • Create Test Log.
  • Complete Functional Tests and record results, in accordance with Work Instructions.
  • Assistance with packing of instruments, when required and / or requested.

Skills Required:

  • Mechanical Assembly/ engineering background
  • Electrical Assembly
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative, working alone as well as in a team
  • Production Mechanical & Electronic testing / Fault finding & diagnostics
  • Computer controlled instrumentation, precision mechanical and electrical assembly, soldering and other electrical skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines while maintaining a methodical approach with quality in mind.
  • Ability to be a good team player within cross functional teams.


  • Up to £32000 plus a comprehensive benefits package
