Kelly Services are recruiting for a results-oriented Payroll Manager to join an international consultancy business, focused on reviewing and improving the payroll processes to ensure the highest levels of accuracy. In this position, you will have responsibility for managing a small team (covering Payroll and Accounts Receivable) to oversee a high volume weekly and monthly payroll runs, with a commitment to getting things right first time.
Core areas of responsibility will include ensuring timely completion, driving systems improvements in order to achieve higher levels of precision, and managing the billing processes for customers (weekly and monthly), as well as prompt subsequent cash collections.
The post holder will preferably come from the Staffing and Recruiting industry, with experience of working with high-volume, variable weekly payrolls and a great eye for detail, able to hit the ground running. We'd like you to have a comprehensive understanding of relevant taxation and regulatory processes including statutory payments and reporting requirements.
It is crucial that you can showcase examples of people management and staff development, alongside having improved systems and/or processes that have added value and efficiency. You will be a first-rate communicator with excellent IT skills (preferably in MS AX/365 and Excel), comfortable in analyse large data volumes and the ability to perform manual calculations.
