Payroll Manager

£45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits
A superb opportunity for a determined and tenacious payroll manager to join a leading recruitment company. In this position, you will have responsibility for a high volume weekly and monthly payroll and will have a background in people management and development, systems and process improvement and a commitment to getting things right first time.
Some of your core areas of responsibility will include ensuring the accurate and timely completion of a large weekly and monthly payroll, managing a team covering payroll and accounts receivable, driving improvements in systems in order to achieve ever higher levels of accuracy and managing the weekly and monthly billing processes for customers and prompt subsequent cash collections.
We'd like you to have a comprehensive understanding of all payroll and relevant taxation processes including statutory payments and reporting requirements as well experience of working with high-volume, variable weekly payrolls. In order to hit the ground running with the aforementioned weekly payroll, it is likely you will have worked in sectors like recruitment or retail.
It is crucial also that you can showcase examples of managing, coaching and developing staff and have improved systems and processes that have saved time and improved accuracy. You will be a first-rate communicator with excellent IT skills and a great eye for detail.
