This is a permanent role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm.
Salary is £29,000 - £39,800 depending on experience.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:


  • Works with relevant functions to select and utilise appropriate resources, tools, machinery and speciality equipment

  • Thoroughly understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment

  • Acts as a formal resource leading and coordinating others

  • Quickly and effectively adapts to change in the manufacturing environment

  • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations

  • Promote interdependence by looking out for one another

  • Correct hazards within your control and capabilities/raises issues to minimise cost and quality exposures

  • Recognise how your work may impact the environment and work to minimise the negative impact

  • Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard

  • Engage in HSE Training

  • Applies high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship/quality

  • Support equipment failure analysis

  • Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments

  • Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system

  • Ensures all process documents and quality procedures are updated and acts as a resource to provide help to others

  • Fully proficient performing skilled activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and responsibilities

  • Leads and coordinates others acting as a formal resource for team members with less capability

  • Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities

  • Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks

  • Performs other duties as required to meet business goals

  • Work with peers and support staff to/ teamwork/ communication

  • Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development

  • This is on-site work on daily bases.

  • Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.

  • Ensures accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.

  • Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations

  • Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialised training and relevant experience.
