A hands-on, autonomous and highly visible role working for an entrepreneurial, international business based out of Gloucester. Created due to business growth, the position has exceptional scope to develop as the company continues its growth and would suit someone who enjoys taking responsibility from start to finish.
Your main responsibilities would include the likes of budgeting and forecasting, leading the month-end close process, intercompany transactions, treasury and cash flow forecasting-related activities and associated ledger control. There will be a requirement to produce quality management information for internal and external stakeholders and a high standard of analysis and financial insight.
In such a hands-on role it is crucial that our client recruits someone with a keen eye for detail, who is thorough in their approach to work and has a flexible and adaptable attitude. A large part of your first six months in the role would be spent looking at setting up processes and controls, therefore you will need to enjoy working in a start-up situation with the challenges and excitement that brings.
You will ideally be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with excellent communication skills, a good command of excel and the ability to work self-sufficiently.
