Location: Elstree, Hertfordshire

Kelly Services are recruiting for Maintenance and Facilities Engineer for an International Healthcare customer with more than 85 years of history.
Our customer is one of the main NHS suppliers, it has 13 sites across the UK including three manufacturing facilities, a national distribution centre, two home care pharmacy distribution centres, four aseptic compounding facilities and two residential patient education centres.

Your new job
You will be focusing both on maintaining production and facilities equipment ensuring reliability and compliance. Where possible enhancing the automation/ industrialization level of the manufacturing process.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Understand and maintenance of HVAC/Chilled water and heating as well as Reverse Osmosis water systems, compressed air systems supplying the cleanroom environment.
* Understanding and maintenance of industrial oven, furnaces, small chemical reactors, environmental chambers, grinding/milling machines, industrial dishwashers, AC systems, fire alarms.
* Supervising contractors carrying out work on site, ensuring compliance and safety of those individuals.
* Attend meetings to discuss and plan the work as described in these
* Fault finding of issues related to building services and equipment essential to maintain the production environment.
* Maintain daily checks on the Building Management System (BMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS)
* First line of response for key equipment and systems such as HVAC, BMS, EMS, RO Water, chiller, boilers and pumps as well as other facilities equipment. Respond to emergencies making systems safe and repairing if possible or contacting maintenance contractors for specialist services
* Complete Preventative and Predictive Maintenance activities as per CMMS (Maximo). Enhance Preventative Maintenance Tasks based on experience and Corrective/Reactive Maintenance.
* Support Calibration activities (temperature, pressure, humidity probes) directly or using external contractors.
* General jobs on site ensuring site cleanliness and overall Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) conditions.
* Document development work including writing specifications for manufacturing or scientific test results.
* Performs routine engineering assignments of related tasks which are typically a focused portion of larger projects. These tasks provide experience and familiarization with the engineering staff, methods, techniques, theories, Corporate and division SOP's, policies and projects.
Skills you need to succeed
· NVQ level 3 Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance qualification Level
* PAT Qualification desirable
* Meet current electrical standards (18th edition course)
Education and/or Experience: * Technical understanding of M&E systems with a mechanical bias and to have worked in a similar environment.
* Can evidence working in a team environment to accomplish site goals.
* Basic knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office.
