Key Account Specialist - Gastro/Urology / South East England/ £35000 - £45000 + Car + Commission
Our client, a globally recognised, prestigious leader in the pharmaceutical field, are looking for an experienced and motivated Key Account Specialist. You will be responsible for covering Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, Frimley Health, Kent and Medway, Surrey, West Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for all sales activities in their geographical area, achieving maximum sales volume through promotion of the company products to primary and secondary care.
Visit Doctors, Pharmacists and Hospitals in order to inform on products according to the marketing strategy.
Build up and maintain a relationship with these stakeholders.
Promoting and selling company products to attain or exceed established sales targets
Maintaining regular contact with present and prospective customers
Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to management and other stakeholders as required
Booking and conducting virtual meetings with potential clients via Teams/Zoom
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Effectively deploy and pull through territory resources including marketing materials, programs, samples and other available and approved sales tools
Create, own and develop effective relationships with approved and targeted customers
Experience of selling Gastro or Urology pharmaceuticals in secondary care
Experience of formulary applications and payer calls and IBD and prostate cancer would also be an advantage
Previous experience as a business-to-business Sales Representative or Key Account Manager, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
Able to achieve or exceed sales objectives
Able to identify potential customers and add to customer base
ABPI is desirable but not essential
