We have immediate Internal Sales Engineer staff vacancies based at our prestigious Electronic manufacturing client based in South Yorkshire. Our client specialises in the manufacture of electronic products & their modern cell based manufacturing facilities are fully flexible for small and large batch runs, enabling short lead times even for customised products. The in-house manufacturing and testing is backed up by their own UKAS accredited laboratory for pressure, temperature, flow and electrical parameters. A team of field-based engineers also provide a full calibration, maintenance and repair service throughout Europe.
Part of a talented and experienced team you will be key members of our internal sales team, responsible for supporting our customers and external sales team in the selection and application of our comprehensive range of products and provide support with Pressure, Temperature products, and other services.
Main function of role:
Generation of quotation from sales enquiries via the company CRM system ensuring all information/ activities are logged.
Provide technical support to both internal & external customers.
Provide support to the external sales engineers.
Liaise with all internal departments to ensure that actions/projects raised are communicated correctly and dealt with in a timely manner.
Responsible for achieving personal and business targets.
Professional, enthusiastic and hardworking, you will be able to demonstrate how you have been able to develop strong relationships with both internal and external customers based on a commitment to offer the best service at all times. An excellent package, commensurate with experience, is available for the right candidates.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Ideally, you will have both a formal engineering qualification along with experience in the sale of technical products or services into industry, but we will also welcome applications from talented individuals who have relevant experience within a sales environment, or from a more technical background looking for a move into sales.
Furthermore we expect:
Sales experience, ideally within a small batch manufacturing environment
Motivated and driven individual
Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers at all levels
Knowledge of and experience of a CRM package
Based within a commutable distance of South Yorkshire
