Our client, a fast paced communication company based in Sheffield are looking for an In-House Recruiter to join their team to help drive the direct and internal recruitment campaigns.
Purpose of the role
As a member of a pivotal team, the Internal Recruiter alongside the resourcing manager will manage resourcing requirements across a range of roles, ensuring that they attract the best talent in the market. You will work closely with the operations team to help drive internal succession and assist in headcount management to include, temporary labour requirements against live vacancies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
*Manage the full recruitment life cycle, from brief to on-boarding, providing best in class candidates and hiring manager experience
*Work with hiring managers and the wider HR team to understand resourcing needs
*Work alongside agency partners to control temporary labour and reduce cost
*Advertise using relevant channels, media campaigns and recruitment events where appropriate
*In line with the attraction strategy, work with local Job Centres and councils to attend and arrange to be part of any local recruitment events
*Provide guidance and insights on the candidate market and competitor landscape, advising alternative options to meet the business requirement
*Undertake detailed screening to include competency-based interviewing where required
What we are looking for:
*Solid understanding of best practice principles and processes within recruitment
*Experience of direct hiring at high volume in either a sourcing or recruiter capacity
*Confident in all aspects of direct-hiring recruitment, including Boolean searching, writing job adverts, mining job-boards, etc.
*Evidence of recruiting across a range of skill levels, managing multiple campaigns and roles at any one time
*Strong communication and relationship building skills with an ability to consult and challenge where appropriate
*Clear and eloquent verbal and written communication skills
