German Speaking Customer Service Advisor / Wolverhampton / £25000

Our client are looking for a German Speaking Customer service advisor who will work in partnership with the Credit Risk Team, Contact Centre, and Client providing a centralised advisory and delivery service.
The Credit Team plays a key role in ensuring the initial and ongoing creditworthiness of our customers.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and trustworthy individual to join our Wolverhampton-based team where you will provide customer service advice along with the required credit risk assessment activities to our customers to support their use of our products and services.

  • Communicating with customers accurately and efficiently both verbally and in written form in German and English.

  • Providing an excellent level of customer service through all of your interactions.

  • Assessing credit applications and making recommendations.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients

  • Learning about the organisations products & Services and keeping up to date with any changes

  • Providing help and advice to customers using the organisation's products and services

  • Ensuring compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.

  • Achieving KPIs and personal objectives.

Skills we can't do without:

  • You have Customer Service experience

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills the ability to convey complex or difficult messages in a clear and concise manner in fluent German and English

  • You possess the ability to prioritise tasks and work well under strict time lines whilst maintaining strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment

  • You have experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word

  • You have sophisticated skills to work calmly under pressure, demonstrate initiative and confidentiality

  • You ready to undertake BPSS and Disclosure Scotland security checks

  • You are fluent in German - mandatory


Skills we'd like:
You have an understanding of credit risk management techniques and the ability to apply these independently, including knowledge of financial statement analysis

  • You prove solid knowledge of financial statement and ratio analysis

  • You hold CICM qualifications or be a member of the CICM
