Automotive Retailing has gone Virtual, and it is looking for you!
The way we interact, sell, and support one another is rapidly changing, and so is your typical showroom. With the online space constantly evolving, the technology that supports it keeps on getting better!
A prime example of this is the emergence of the virtual showroom and it is creating a lot of interest. A virtual showroom recreates the brick-and-mortar experience in the online world. With the use of live streaming, brands are connecting with customers by offering instant advice and assistance in a more accessible and convenient way.
Are you interested in the new ways of marketing?
Our client is all about the Elevated Human Experience and are looking for a team of new 'Live Tour Product Hosts'. Being a Virtual Tour Host is a unique job role and so, our client is looking for passionate people to help their customers find the right product - in this case, their next car! An Audi to be exact.
In this role, you will host live, personal tours as a Product Marketer, in what is, a truly innovative Virtual Showroom, which is based in West London. You will combine virtual marketing with some amazing products whilst working one-to-one with a customer to help them find their perfect car.
Do you want to be a part of creating and delivering new and innovative customer experiences?
Our client can offer you great career-growth opportunities as well as competitive performance benefits, and best of all, no previous automotive experience is required, as full training is provided. All we ask is for enthusiasm and passion!
You would work with customers interested in Audi, which is part of the Volkswagen Group (VWG) product range as the 'face' of the brand.
Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for people who are engaging, personable and have rapport-building skills. Having confidence in front of a camera would be beneficial, however, this can be learned along the way. Are you dynamic and responsive to deliver a full needs-analysis of customers to tailor the product features to their needs?
As you will be promoting 3-7 vehicles, in-depth knowledge and attention to detail would be required, as you will need to respond to any questions or queries like you would face-to-face. Having good negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills would be ideal for this role also. Although you won't be selling vehicles, you will be first point-of-contact, so it will be your responsibility to ensure the customer has all the information they need before they proceed.
What would a typical day look like?
- Planning and presenting live stream content, as well as pre-recorded videos on the range of products for customers and retailers.
- Showing customers around specific Audi vehicles, controlling the camera feeds to highlight features of the car, whilst interacting with the customer and answering any questions.
- Demonstrating the products whilst anticipating customer needs (through needs analysis techniques) to provide accurate sales-leads that are logged and followed up.
- Booking test drives for the customers at their retailer of choice, including any follow ups to ensure the booking has been completed.
- Providing customers with excellent product knowledge and accurate information.
- Appropriately dealing with any complaints and service requests, ensuring they are handed off to the correct service team.
- Assisting customers with visiting retailers who do not have the vehicle in their showroom.
- Using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (so prior knowledge of this software is required).
What can you expect?
You will have knowledgeable, encouraging, supporting and 'present' leadership. You will work with a diverse and community-minded organisation who promotes career growth and many learning opportunities.
And… as mentioned above, all the competitive performance bonus opportunities and benefits you'd expect and maybe a few that would pleasantly surprise you, like private medical from day one, holiday entitlement including statutory holidays, and paid sick entitlement (once passed probation).
