Job Title: Assistant Accountant
We are working with a local sector leading organisation based in Hereford. Our client is currently in a period of growth and development and are looking to add a new Assistant Accountant to their finance team.
The newly appointed Assistant Accountant will be involved in a wide aspect of duties such as:
- Looking after expenses
- Payroll processing
- Completion and maintenance of General Ledgers
- Assisting with VAT processing and returns
- Preparation of accounts for external audit
- Ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager
To be successful in your application you will need to be highly organised and have the ability to work in set deadlines. You will be able to work within a team as well as on your own with a great attention to detail. It is very important that you will build great working relationships and will be self-motivated to excel your performance.
Ideally you will be AAT qualified or a studier, have advanced Excel skills, experience in payroll processing and the ability to build rapport with both financial and non-financial team members.
