Accounts Supervisor

Radford, Nottingham

22,000 - 26,000 per annum

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Importing job invoice details from production database to Sage Sales Invoice processing
  • Raising customer invoices from Sage (email/paper invoices, monthly email statements)
  • Entering web entry invoices and monthly statements onto designated customer websites/portals
  • Final posting of customer invoices on Sage
  • Importing job committed costs from production database to Sage Purchase Order Processing
  • Printing off supplier invoices from emails and collating
  • Pay-flow computation and submission x2 per month (=translator/supplier payments)
  • Updating / posting supplier (committed) costs as actual costs based on checked supplier invoices
  • Foreign exchange transactions via foreign bank account and Forex specialist websites (training provided)
  • Posting of nominal/overhead invoices on Sage and payments
  • Credit control x1 per week, including debtor chasing via email/phone calls
  • Cashflow reports to MD x1 per week
  • Monthly Sage Projects profit margin report generation
  • Monthly emailing of Sage data backup to Accountant for him to complete monthly management accounts
  • Order stationery and common office supplies as needed
  • Organise maintenance call-outs for office equipment (photocopier, printers)
  • Petty cash management and banking
  • Posting client bank transfers and banking cheques
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Posting monthly salary payroll figures (provided by Accountant)General filing & archiving

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bsc. Accounting and Finance or equivalent
  • Professional qualifications eg. CCA, AAT, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent
  • Approx. 3 Years experience working in accounts, preferably for an SME
