Accounts Assistant, Cheltenham, £20-25K, 3 months
Fast moving and rapidly growing company have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper to start as soon as possible.
This role will involve inputting and processing invoices into the accounting system along with data validation and statement reconciliations. Working closely with the Finance Manager, responsibilities include:
Inputting and processing invoices and data including Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, creation of payment runs, allocation of cash receipts & payments
Assisting with month end processes
Resolving client queries
Updating client accounts
Assisting in financial analysis
Key skills and experience
Ideally AAT qualified, studying towards qualification or equivalent
Accounting data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
Attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with Accounting Software such as Xero or Sage
Strong IT skills and working knowledge of Excel
Ability to respond quickly and adapt to changing client needs
Passionate about working in a fast-paced environment
You can work remotely from a home-based office or at the office space in Cheltenham
Some travel will be necessary to meet clients onsite
