Excellent opportunity to work for a well-established international business with a site in central Gloucester. You will get the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team and work alongside the Management Accountant as an Accounts Assistant.
As an Accounts Assistant you will look after the following tasks:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Supporting the Monthly Management Accounts
- Processing of employee expenses
- Banking and cash reconciliations along with looking after Petty Cash
- Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns
- Assist with ad hoc tasks and reporting when needed by the Finance Manager.
To be successful in your application, you will need to be an experienced Accounts Administrator with good Excel knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Ideally would be AAT qualified/studier and have the desire to expand your knowledge.
