Buying Solutions

Since 1 July 2009 Kelly Services has been working with Buying Solutions as a preffered supplier for administrative, clerical and temporary roles.

The Buying Solutions framework offers public sector organisations a cost effective, efficient supplier management process. Buying Solutions only work with the UK’s top suppliers in their industry to ensure public sector organisations will receive the level of service required.

Buying Solutions provides the public sector with access to procurement arrangements for a wide range of professional services including Temporary Clerical and Administrative staff. Only the most proficient suppliers that bid qualify for inclusion in our framework agreements. They have been rigorously assessed by us on price, quality and compliance and can be trusted to deliver value for money.

The Temporary Clerical and Administrative framework agreement, previously hosted by the Home Office and supported by the Office of Government Commerce, was transferred to Buying Solutions’ Professional Services category team on 1 July 2009.

This framework agreement is available to all public sector organisations. So far 54 customers have used it successfully since its creation in July 2007.

The addition of this framework agreement to the Professional Services resourcing portfolio complements existing specialist contractors and interim management agreements, which will form a new framework agreement for Non-Permanent Staff and which will be available to Buying Solutions’ customers from December 2009.

The current Temporary Clerical and Administrative arrangements provide temporary agency staff. The framework agreement is split into two separate Lots:

Temporary Clerical and Administrative framework Lot 1

This covers the provision of temporary clerical and administrative staff from two or more agencies from a list of seven suppliers.

Temporary Clerical and Administrative framework Lot 2

This covers the provision of temporary clerical and administrative staff under a master vendor arrangement, whereby all temporary staff are provided through a single service provider – either through their own resources or, additionally, through second tier agencies providers or subcontractors. There are five suppliers available through this lot.
