Kelly Services launches Kelly Professional Recruitment
Kelly Services, the UK recruitment agency, has announced plans to launch Kelly Professional Recruitment, a new division specialising in permanent employment in distinct sectors of the market. With the public sector responding to Sir Peter Gershon's review of public sector efficiency by rationalising the number of its suppliers, many private companies are following suit. However, for many niche areas, specialist recruitment consultants are essential in order to assist companies with their long term business goals. The new Kelly Professional Recruitment division is designed to solve this conundrum, says the leading recruitment agency.
“Our new division, Kelly Professional Recruitment, will provide an umbrella which will cover all new specialist areas, but offer our partners a single supplier,” explains Sam Rope, National Perm Director for Kelly Services. “This will allow companies to make the savings they need through rationalisation of the procurement process, while increasing the quality and consistency of the service that we can offer. We will be recruiting specialist recruitment consultants who thoroughly understand the permanent market and the individual sectors which this new division will serve.
“We will be helping to build talented teams, working with employers to enhance their companies; and helping them to fulfil business objectives rather than just fill vacancies.
Kelly Professional Recruitment will also provide expert assistance for candidates for positions in niche sectors, giving a career boost to executive assistants, senior call centre managers, human resources professionals, insurance specialists and sales and marketing executives. “Our second reason for forming this new division is to enhance the service for candidates and ensure that we target their needs even more closely when putting them forward for a position. We have always regarded people as individuals with talent, adding value to our customers. This new division will deliver a far more personal service, developing the careers of our highly skilled candidates” adds Rope.

Kelly Professional Recruitment is the first in a series of new moves from Kelly Services in its drive to partner both candidates and client businesses, to make career progression more flexible, and its services more widely available through a series of new routes. “The high street has been a good location for the 20th century, but we now work, shop, and even job hunt in new ways. By launching Kelly Professional Recruitment, we will be able to offer specialised services to business, with the focus on skill sets and abilities. In each of these new settings we can provide the specialisation of a boutique agency, but with the backing of a national organisation with a proven track record in recruitment. The move follows the success of the Kelly Services PTSA (Professional and Technical Staffing Alternatives) division which caters for education, engineering, financial and scientific candidates.
